When I got married in 2018, I was not a photographer. And to be honest, the thought of hiring a photographer at that time did not even occur to me. Instead, I had my friend who attended the wedding take some photos on her (now dated) iPhone and we called it a day.
In my defense, nothing I did for my wedding was traditional. We chose to elope at City Hall in Chicago instead of having a formal wedding. However, this didn't make our day any less special. We still had a handful of important people with us and got to share an intimate moment celebrating our love. AND WE SHOULD HAVE HAD A PHOTOGRAPHER THERE TO CAPTURE THE MOMENT!
Now, I don't regret the decision to elope and have an intimate celebration with our closest family and friends, but I do regret not hiring a wedding photographer to accompany us on our journey that day. Having beautiful images to look back on and share with others for generations to come would have been such a special opportunity.
As your wedding photographer, I want to help you avoid this same fate! On one of the most important days of you and your partner's lives, you should have someone there to capture the beauty, chaos, emotion, joy, and celebration so that you can share these moments for your lifetime and beyond. And I would love to be that person.

FAQ
Do you charge travel fees?
At this time, I am not charging any travel fees for weddings in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, or Wisconsin. For any other destination, a travel fee may be assessed.
Do you inlcude an engagement session with your wedding photography packages?
All of my packages include an hour long engagement session! You can also pay an additional amount to upgrade your engagement session to include more time/locations/outfits.
How much is the deposit/retainer?
The retainer for wedding photography packages is usually $500. This is nonrefundable in the event of a cancellation. The retainer fee will be discussed in your initial consultation call.
When will my payment be due?
The retainer will be due at the time of booking, and your final remaining balance will be due 1 month before your wedding date. I will send you an invoice for your final payment approximately 6-8 weeks before your wedding date.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept cash, Zelle, and credit/debit card payments. If you need an alternative payment method, please reach out to me to discuss possible options.
How many hours should I book?
This depends on what you want captured on your wedding day and your timeline. While most couple's book 8 hours of coverage, we can always work together to figure out the best option for you.
How long does it take to get my photos back?
You wedding gallery will be delivered via an online gallery 4-6 weeks after your wedding date. Your USB and custom photo album will be delivered by mail 8 weeks after your wedding date.
How do I book with you?
If you're interested in booking, please fill out the contact form below! I will reach out to you within 48 hours and will send you a questionnaire that will give me more information about you, your partner, and your vision for your wedding day. We will then schedule the initial consultation call. Once you are ready to book, I will send the contract and invoice for your retainer. Then you will officially be an Alister Images Bride!
